spencer boys 3 gaer 1

well what can i say this one was down to me,kick off arrived and only 6 players so i accepted the oppposing teams offer of a loan player and just as kick off arrived our latecomer (curtis) turned up by then i wqas not going to let the young boy down by telling him i didnt want him and to be honest he was not very good at all so in the second halfbi compounded the problem by moving into goal and that was by far my biggest mistake . to all gaer players i apologise for losing you the match because believe me on any other day we would have annhialated them . once again connor holland was outstanding as were all the other players including tom who after coming out and having a shaky 5 minutes played out of his skin . so we chalk this one down to me boys and not you .

gaer vs pill

well what can you say we were outplayed outfought and outhtought from start to finish .after going 1 - 0 down we rallied to 1 - 1 but then it was all pill.tom's feet nailed to the floor the passing across goal a nightmare one good point was connor another great display in defence and boy did he need to. ah well they are only 8 now lets move on to the next game we cant be any worse eh

gaer vs cromwell

sunday 16th september saw our first league game and alos our forst game against the side from cromwell. the away fixture was more like a home game with the game dominating from start to finish even against a strong headwind in the first half. the passing and positional play was excellent resulting in an excellent 4-1 win with goals form jake thomas x2 and ricardo rees x 2.
onwards and upwards from here on in .

what a display of good passing football but what about the shooting , you don't have to pay to shoot boys you should have won by a hatfull. but even saying that very impressive movement and passing all in all a good start to the season

pill tournament

well can you belive it , not one week after playing malpas off the park and still getting beat we did it again. playing some of the best football of the tournament all day and only conceding one goal in the process up pop malpas tyhe last game of the day and pow!! they do us again. but having said all that pnce again they did the manager fans and parents proud by never giving an inch and as for connor holland well i want what he ate for breakfast but he wqs still starving all day he ate every opposing player for breakfast all day , god he must be full.
now the season is upon us once again time to show who's the best boys , give em hell.
